Are you ready to explore the magnificent Penang Island? Hop on to the double-decked Penang Hop-on Hop-off (HOHO) tour bus and travel around Penang at your own pace. The HOHO bus allows passengers to ride in or get off the buses whenever and wherever within the 22 designated stops and operational time. It means having a more flexible and pleasant tour.
Officially launched in January 2015, the HOHO bus service covers 2 circle routes – the City Route which takes you around the city, and the Beach Route which covers Batu Ferringhi up to the National Park. The City Route has 13 designated stops while the Beach Route has 9. The journey covers more than 50 attractions including 100 hotels along the way. These 2 routes are connected in 1 interlink or bus interchange at (01) Gurney Drive where you can change routes.
The HOHO bus service runs daily from 9 in the morning to 8 in the evening with 20 to 30 minutes intervals each stop. You can get off the bus at every attraction and hop on the next bus afterwards.
The City Route stops at the following stations:
(01) Gurney Drive, (02) Botanical Garden, (03) Penang Hill, (04) Kek Lok Si, (05) Times Square, (06) Komtar, (07) Chowrasta, (08) UNESCO Heritage, (09) Clan Jetties, (10) Cruise, (11) St. George, (12) Blue Mansion and (13) Kelawei.
